| Each piece is created and handcrafted by artist, Macy Hall. Her designs are mixed media creations. She works primarily with polymer clay, sterling silver, artistic wire, and beads. As an artist, Macy has worked with many mediums and gives special attention to the detail and concept of each creation. While working as a graphic artist, Macy slowly found her way towards polymer clay. Intrigued and captivated by the artistic possibilities, she began experimenting with various polymer clays and wire wrapping techniques. She has now been working with polymer clay for over 10 years and has had great success with both her polymer jewelry and sculpture lines. She has developed an incredible technique that creates polymer crystals, which she can then finish with beautiful foils, metallic powders and inks. She currently resides in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York where she enjoys raising her family and operating her own business,Casa de Clay. Macy has taught polymer clay classes to individuals of all ages. She has created her own web site, containing all of her creations over the last several years. Macy is a member of the National Polymer Clay Guild & Western New York Polymer Clay Guild. |
